Services Offered

In-Office Tutoring

We offer In-Office Tutoring at our office, which is conveniently located near the intersection of State Street and Pedragosa Street at 1900 State Street, Suite G in Santa Barbara.  This provides students with a structured setting for academic services that is both comfortable and suitable for learning.

Homeschool Assistance

We are very experienced with local and national homeschool curricula and can provide parents with detailed guidance on choosing the course that fits your needs.  We are well prepared to assist parents with any homeschooling course as often as needed. Our homeschooling assistance sessions help guide students through the entire course and ensure that students learn and retain the material along the way.

Online Tutoring

In addition to our In-Office Tutoring services, we also offer an online tutoring option that allows students to interact with their tutors without traveling or setting up a meeting within the home.  This is a great option for students looking for assistance with Spanish, English, Writing and subjects in the Humanities or Social Sciences.  In addition, our online services provide you with an opportunity to save money as these are offered at a discounted rate.

Academic Coaching

Does your student have organizational problems?  Do they forget to turn in their homework even when they’ve completed it?  Do they need to learn general study skills to meet their own potential?  Could they benefit from greater communication with their teachers?  Our Academic Coaching services provide all this and more as our coaches teach your student how to learn and take over communication with their teachers.  In addition, coaches also provide weekly reports on student behavior and academic progress.

ISEE / SSAT / SAT / ACT / GRE Science and Math Prep

Standardized testing has a tendency to give many students considerable anxiety.  One way to curb that often debilitating emotion is to prepare one-on-one with specialists in specific areas.  We offer Test Preparation services for all sections of the ISEE, SSAT, SAT, ACT and GRE tests to help your student feel confident in their knowledge and their ability to succeed on these very important examinations.

Education Consulting

Our staff has a wide range of experience with curriculum development and reform both within the US and Internationally.  If you are an educator, home-schooler, or ministry official we can help you develop a classroom curriculum that is both comprehensive and effective in covering important scientific and mathematical concepts.  Our consultants have participated in training workshops across Latin America and the Caribbean, have worked as part of an international committee charged with the revision of the Biology curriculum for 16 Caribbean countries, and are currently writing chapters for international biology textbooks.
